What is a Festival?

A festival is like a club session with the opportunity to meet and play with players from all different parts of the UK and beyond. You can play as little or as much as you choose. Some players will choose to play just mornings only (or part of a morning); whilst others will play all day long. Unlike a tournament there are no collation of results or medals, just pure pickleballing fun.

Venue 

The venue is the University of West of England (UWE) Centre for Sport, Coldharbour Ln, Stoke Gifford, Bristol BS16 1QY.

The venue has 8 courts and the number of players will be limited to 100. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Once we have filled all 100 spaces, we will put any additional applicants on a standby list, should a place become available.

The venue is offering free parking for the festival.

There are numerous catering outlets on campus including: Costa, Starbucks and Subway as well as several vending machines.

There is a Sainsbury's supermarket 15 minutes wal from the venue as well.

Accommodation 

There are numerous options, should you wish to stay newr the venue:

Travelodge Filton - Concorde Roundabout, Hayes Way, Bristol, BS34 5GN.  Sat nave postcode BS34 6QA

Travelodge Emerson Green - Fieldfare, Emersons Green, Bristol BS16 7FN.  Sat nav postcode BS16 7FN

Premier Inn Filton - Shield Retail Park, Gloucester Road North, Filton BS34 7BR

The venue is about 6 miles from the city centre, should you wish to stay more central.
