UK Deaf Open Pickleball Festival

Venue

Venue has 6 acrylic tennis courts which can create 12 pickleball courts

Refreshments and lunch will be provided but bring your own water bottle!

Event Format

Max 100 players per day!!!

Saturday 21^st June (11am to 6pm) – Mix of coaching and pickleball games festival

Sunday 22^nd June (930am to 3pm) – Mix of coaching and pickleball games festival

The event is open to Deaf, Hard of Hearing and DeafBlind participants

Entry Fee

• Adult Day Pass (choose day Saturday or Sunday) - £20
• Adult Weekend Pass - £35
• Family Day Pass (two adults with children / choose day Saturday or Sunday) - £30
• Family Weekend Pass (two adults with children) - £50
• Children under 18 up to 21^st June 2025 – free

 

Hotels

There are 3 hotels – The Link, Burleigh and Athelete Village. Please wait for more information on prices coming later including discount codes

1. Burleigh Court (LE11 3GR) – 4* en-suite rooms. Executive twin - £125 per room max 2 people per night. Breakfast is £16 per adult

2. The Link Hotel LE11 4EX – 3* en-suite rooms. Off-site hotel. £79 non-refundable rate per room. Breakfast is £12 per adult

3. The Elite Athlete Centre (LE11 3TU)– £133 per night including breakfast. Twin room

 

Car Parking

There is good parking on site. Parking is free if you purchase an event ticket. If no ticket, you are responsible to pay parking to Loughborough University 

• Entry only from Epinall Way onto University Road
• Car Park outside Dan Maskell Centre restricted to VIPs/Volunteer team
• Car Park 9 – 120 spaces (Loughborough University, Towers Way, LE11 3TW)
• Car Parking is FREE to those who have bought festival ticket only for that session (One day ticket means only that day)
• Car Parking not restricted across the whole campus but there is a fee if not bought festival ticket. Person is responsible for paying car park ticket after leaving

By ticking the terms & conditions box on the registration form, you agree to the following:

If you don't censent, please ensure that you make the organisors aware when you check in on the day.

• Cancellation and refund requests must be made by 11:59 PM GMT on 30th April, however a £5 administration fee will be applied to all cancellations made up to this date.  After this date registration fees are non-refundable.  However, in all cases registrations may be transferred.  Requests to transfer should be sent to adpickleball@actiondeafness.org.uk.
• To follow any Covid-19 related requirements
• Promise to follow pickleballEngland code of conduct and uphold pickleballEngland values
• Signing this waiver:

"I release and discharge, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, the organisers, the facility, its members, employees and sponsors and all persons associated with the festival from all claims, damages, rights of action present or future which may arise in connection with my participation in the Fesival.  Persons under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult."
