Event Format

Events: Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles
Format: Round robin format followed by a single elimination bracket. Each player will be guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches.
Age Categories: 18+, 50+, 65+
Skill Levels: 3.5-, 4.0+
Format: Group Stage and Playoffs
Entry Fee: EUR 35.00 per event
Registration Opens:  7 March 2025
Registration Closes: 22 August 2025
Medals: Gold, Silver & Bronze

If there are an insufficient number of entries within a single age/skill category (min 5), then categories will be combined at the Tournament Director's discretion.

Transport

Train- Arriving at the Termini Station (6 km distance from the Stadium): Take the Metro A line, direction Battistini, and get off at Ottaviano stop - Via Barletta, then take bus No. 32 and get off at De Bosis/Stadio Tennis. Or take the Metro A line direction Ottaviano and get off at Flaminio stop, then take the tram No. 2 and get off at the terminus in Piazza Mancini.

Arriving at the Tiburtina station: Take the Metro B line, direction Laurentina, get off at Termini, then change to underground A line, direction Battistini (Ottaviano stop - Via Barletta), and from there take bus No. 32 and get off at De Bosis/Stadio Tennis.

Arriving at the Station Ostiense: Take Metro B (Piramide) Rebibbia, get off at Termini, then change to underground A line, direction Battistini (Ottaviano stop - Via Barletta), and from there take bus No. 32 and get off at De Bosis/Stadio Tennis.

Plane - Arriving at the Airport Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino (40 km distance): Take the train to Termini, Ostiense, Tiburtina and then follow the directions above.

Car- Exit on GRA Flaminia direction, take exit N ° 6 (Flaminia), then follow the signs to the stadium (Foro Italico).

Registration

On registering, you will be sent a confirmation email confirming your entries as well as a special link back to the registration website (if it doesn't come through please check all junk folders before sending through an enquiry to let us know). This will take you to a players needing partners page where you must confirm your registered partners by sending a partner confirmation email. This means both you and your partner must be registered and then confirm your partnership to guarantee your entry as a doubles team into the event. If you have agreed a partnership in advance, you should follow the link in the email and click on the "Send Partner Request" icon next to the name of your proposed partner. They will receive an email asking them to confirm that they agree, and will be given the option to confirm yes/no. This automatically updates our system either way. In the event you don't have a partner and need to find one, you can use the "Contact" icon next to a player's name to start a conversation with them via email about potentially partnering up. If you have any queries or concerns then please don't hesitate to send through an enquiry and we will do our best to get back to you ASAP!

If you choose to add another event after you have registered, you can go back to your original registration confirmation email and use the link provided.  If you need to change an event or withdraw from an event, you should also use this link.

 

Tournament Terms & Conditions

By ticking the terms and conditions box in your registration form, you agree to the following:

• Confirm that you are 18 years of age or over on the date of the event.
• The tournament will be held in accordance with the USAPA Official Tournament Rulebook. A copy of the Rulebook will be available at the tournament.
• Cancellation and refund requests must be made by 11:59pm BST on Friday 22nd August 2025.
• Event  fees are refundable up 11.59pm BST on Friday 22nd August 2025. (An admin fee of EUR 5.00 per refund will be deducted to cover credit card fees.)
• Tournament director has the discretion to combine categories in the event of too few entries and also to move players between categories, and their decision is final.
• Tournament results will be sent to DUPR.  If you have a DUPR Id we ask you to include it on your registration
• Agree to follow any Covid-19 related requirements
• Agreeing to this waiver: "I release and discharge, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, the organizers, the facility, its members, employees, and sponsors and all persons associated with the tournament from all claims, damages, rights of action present or future which may arise in connection with my participation in the tournament. I understand that filming and photographs will be taken at this event and I give permission to the European Pickleball Federation to use the creative content to advertise, promote or showcase the event."
