Thank you so much for choosing to attend the the fourth Skechers English OPEN pickleball tournament powered by APP.

Over 7 days there will be 1,976 players from 42 countries participating in the tournament! A whopping 80% increase over 2023.
58% male and 42% female which means that we will once again be running some men’s challenge groups on mixed doubles day.
83% of the players are from the UK across all age groups and rating levels.
Other notable numbers are 69 from the USA, 42 each from Spain and Ireland and 36 from India.
New countries represented this year include Nicaragua, Peru, Ukraine, Jamaica and Romania to name a few.
We are sure that by the end of the tournament all of these players will have made new friends

The APP are bringing over all 15 of the Next Generation National Team as well as facilitating 9 pro players to join us Thursday-Sunday and 4 Senior Pro Players Monday-Wednesday.

Telford was such a success last year that we are using 85% of the same plan this year.
40 Pickleball United roll-out courts, Franklin nets and X40 balls, court barriers around all the courts.
Raised seating around the Championship Court which will once again be live streamed.

This year we will have 8 Certified USAP referees with us for the 7 days of the tournament plus volunteer refs from UK and further afield.
We have also got a higher number of volunteers than last year, just to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
You can identify the volunteers in light blue shirts with “ASK ME” on the back.
We want to thank all the volunteers and referees for donating their time and energy to make the event a success.
