REGISTRATION FOR 31st October - 3rd November 2024

We are delighted to announce that Skechers are returning as our title sponsor of the English Nationals for a second year and the Franklin X40 is the official ball and net of the event.  

The rate of growth of pickleball in England is fantastic but it gave the PbE Board a challenge.  How do we increase capacity at the English Nationals to accommodate growth when we can't increase the number of courts and we can't add additional days?  The answer is that we are separating out Singles and Doubles and we are losing the Team Event day.  We will make Bolton Arena the venue for Doubles and Mixed Doubles and we are looking for a venue and dates for a separate Singles event.  Don't worry, players that want to play in both, won't have to pay registration twice.

We are also reducing the number of events but making the brackets bigger, so that we can ensure that each event bracket is highly competitive.

The 2024 Nationals is a tournament for English players only. 

We are back again at Bolton Arena in Greater Manchester.  The venue is a world class tennis facility, having hosted Davis Cup and Commonwealth Games events in the past. It has 8 acrylic tennis courts, which from Thursday 31st October thru Sunday 3rd November will be transformed into 24 pickleball courts including a championship court which will be livestreamed. 

Bolton Arena itself is located just off Junction 6 of the M61, as well as being directly opposite Horwich Parkway. There are multiple hotels within walking distance as well as Middlebrook Retail & Leisure Park, the UK's largest retail and leisure park. There are a huge variety of shops as well as restaurants such as Wagamama, Nando's, Harvester, Chiquito and TGI Friday's among others. There are also other activities to do such as visiting Hollywood Bowl or Vue Cinema.
